Fire broke out at Uhuru market along Jogoo road on Monday evening due to undetermined circumstances.
The fire broke out in one of the stalls and was spreading quickly before it was contained.

Nairobi Woman representative, Esther Passaris commended the fire fighters for containing the fire and vowed to appeal the disaster fund allocated to her office to be increased.
Investigations are being carried out to determine the cause of the fire.
