    Unknown Assailants Kill Five Security Guards In Vihiga

    A gang on burglary mission killed five security officers manning business premises in Vihiga county. The armed men stole money and goods from the shop before killing the guards whose bodies were found in different places of Kilingili market.

    Caleb Miano a son to one of the deceased told Citizen Digital that his father who had been a guard at the market for more than ten years had complained of insecurity in the area.

    My father was complaining about insecurity issues in the area and that people have been attacked but no action had been taken,” he said.

    A shop owner in the area said that the gang stole goods such as cigarettes, telephone recharge cards and an amount f money close Sh 30000.
