Vihiga residents at the Marengo area heckled the Deputy president William Ruto who is in the area campaigning for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election.
He was accompanied by former Vihiga Governor Moses Akaranga.
This comes barely a week after State House received delegation from the western region who had promised to deliver votes for Kenyatta ‘s re-election.

Meanwhile in Tala, Machakos governor Alfred Mutua of the Maendeleo ChapChap which is a party affiliated to Jubilee was also booed and his motorcade blocked while campaigning for the President.
NASA supporters in Tala town heckled down the governor.
This comes in the midst claims that the Jubilee party has been buying IDs from voters in NASA strongholds.
