In May 2010 we told you about the Encipher tablet (later renamed INYE) from Nigeria. And in May 2011 the Encipher group launched INYE 2. Today, another African company, VMK Congo, has announced that it is developing a Gingerbread tablet to be released in September. VMK even went ahead and showed some photos of the back …. yes the back, of the tablet because the front of the tablet has some unique designs which are yet to be patented.
Apart from the fact that the tablet will run on Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread0, not much is known about the specs of the Tablet. The company is also looking for more funding to realise the dream. You can see more photos of the Tablet here. VMK is based in Congo Brazaville.
