    Waitress Connives With Father To Eliminate Nanyuki Businessman, Steal His Car

    A waitress and her father are being held by the police for the murder of a businessman on Tuesday, 4 December.

    Jane Wanjiku, a waitress in Nanyuki is said to have conspired with her father Charles Macharia to kill and steal from George Gachibi, a businessman.

    The deceased reportedly dated Ms Wanjiku who frequented his home.

    Father and daughter were apprehended hours after the heinous act at a petrol station in Gatanga, Murang’a county.

    According to the DCI, the suspects killed Mr Gachibi before stealing electronic goods and his car.

    “Detectives acted swiftly on receiving information about the stolen car & laid an ambush. After a short while,it was spotted being driven to a Petrol Station in Kirwara,Gatanga & the driver(Charles Macharia)arrested.The vehicle & all stolen electronics from the deceased recovered,” DCI said in a tweet.

    The deceased was found lying in a pool of blood by his employees who had tried reaching him all morning. They grew suspicious when their calls went unanswered.

    Detectives recovered the stolen goods in a house belonging to the suspects.
