    Early Life

Elijah Blue Allman was born on July 10, 1976, in Los Angeles, California.

He is the son of pop superstar Cher and Southern rock singer Gregg Allman, a founding member of The Allman Brothers Band. Through his parents, he grew up connected to some of the most influential figures in the music industry.

Allman has several half-siblings, including Chaz Bono from his mother’s side and siblings Delilah, Michael, Layla, and Devon from his father’s side.

His interest in music began at an early age. When he was 13 years old, he received his first guitar from Gene Simmons, the bassist of the rock band KISS, while he was touring with his mother.

He later attended Hyde School in Bath, Maine, graduating in 1994.

    Music Career and Deadsy

Elijah Blue Allman gained recognition as the lead vocalist, guitarist, and lyricist of the industrial rock band Deadsy, which he founded in 1995. In the band, he performed under the stage name Phillips Exeter Blue.

Deadsy’s lineup included drummer Alec Puro, producer Josh Abraham, keyboardist Renn Hawkey, and bassist Jay Gordon.

The band released its debut album Commencement in 2002, followed by Phantasmagore in 2006. Although the albums received mixed reviews, Deadsy developed a cult following among fans of gothic and industrial rock.

The band toured widely and performed at major events such as Lollapalooza and the Family Values Tour alongside bands including Deftones.

    Collaborations and Other Projects

Beyond his work with Deadsy, Allman has collaborated with a number of artists in the rock and alternative music scenes.

He contributed vocals and instruments to projects involving bands such as:

    • Orgy
    • Coal Chamber
    • Thirty Seconds to Mars
    • Korn

In addition, he performed guitar and bass on the song Welcome to the Universe from the debut album by Thirty Seconds to Mars.

He later launched a side project called Elijah Blue and the Trapezoids, releasing demo recordings online.

    Cher Conservatorship Dispute

In December 2023, Allman became the subject of public headlines when his mother Cher filed a petition seeking a conservatorship over him.

According to court filings, Cher argued that Elijah was unable to manage his financial resources due to mental health and substance-related struggles. She also claimed the money he receives from a trust fund set up by his late father could be misused.

The trust reportedly provides quarterly payments of $30,000, totaling about $120,000 per year.

Allman later responded publicly, stating that while he had struggled with addiction in the past, he believed he was capable of managing his own life and finances.

    Personal Life

Elijah Blue Allman has had several high-profile relationships over the years, including links to celebrities such as Heather Graham, Kate Hudson, Bijou Phillips, and Paris Hilton.

In December 2013, he married Marieangela King, a singer from the pop group KING. Their relationship has experienced multiple public ups and downs, including divorce filings and reconciliations.

In 2025, King filed for divorce again, citing irreconcilable differences after the couple separated earlier that year.
