NASA presidential candidate, Raila Odinga has fired head of his presidential campaign secretariat, Willis Otieno.
The lawyer has been fired for being grossly incompetent and lacking the skills and professionalism needed to coordinate Raila’s campaign secretariat. He has also been variously accused of being a key contact of the Jubilee at the secretariat.
The lawyer has been widely accused for lacking in skills needed to manage the complex campaigns. Many were the instances when Raila’s campaign calendar would be totally uncoordinated as Willis couldn’t effectively handle the different dynamics.
Willis has been replaced by Raila’s long time friend, Joe Ager. Willis will continue to work with the Raila’s team in some undefined roles. He has also been ordered to move from the Church road based secretariat to the Okoa Kenya offices in Lavington.
According to the LSK website, Willis was admitted into the bar in 2009.
