yuMobile has launched an affordable data offer of Kes. 2 per hour browsing rate. The offer dubbed ‘Happy Hour’ allows customers on the network to browse the internet for as low as Kes.2 per hour all day and all night. The offer attracts NO SUBSCRIPTION CHARGES and customers can unsubscribe at anytime.

To enjoy this new data offering, yu subscribers have to dial *242# and select the subscribe option to activate it.

To launch the offer, yuMobile’s Country Manager Madhur Taneja said:

“We believe in giving value for money to our customers all round and this is testimony to that. More and more people are now accessing the internet on their handsets and with the tough economic times being experienced at the moment, our subscribers can continue to surf the internet without worrying about the costs.”

Rapid Communications Limited , a premium content service provider, said:

“The new data offering by yuMobile has excited the market. Following the introduction of this new offer, we have experienced increased downloads of songs and other premium rate content over the mobile internet portals.”

This is the latest addition to the range of products already being offered by yu including free calls all day (6am – 6p within the network) and 50 cents sms across networks.
