The selection panel for the appointment of the Chairperson and Members of the Board of the Kenya National Innovation Agency (KENIA) has shortlisted 10 candidates for the Chairperson position and 27 candidates for member positions.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, April 20, 2026, the panel said the advertisement, which closed on March 17, 2026, attracted 22 applications for the Chairperson position and 190 applications for the Member positions.
For the Chairperson role, those shortlisted for interviews scheduled on April 29, 2026 include Odero James Patrick Ochieng’, Avedi Evans Kituzi, Njiru Rwamba Pauline, Mohamed Fatuma Hirsi, and Meme Festus Murithi.
The panel further announced that additional shortlisted candidates will be interviewed on April 30, 2026. They include Rotich Stanley Kiplagat, Ayiro Peter Laban, Gachigi Kamau, Ogara William Okelo, and Serrem Thomas Kiprono.
Interviews for the Member positions will be conducted between May 4 and May 7, 2026.
The panel said all shortlisted candidates will be interviewed at Rainbow Towers, Westlands, along Muthithi Road in Nairobi, on the date and time indicated in their invitations.
Candidates have been instructed to arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled interview time.
