24 foreigners, including 18 Ethiopians and 6 Eritreans, were arrested yesterday at Merti Su-county, Isiolo County being driven to Nairobi.

The combined operation by security teams in the county was conducted after a tip off from the public.

The immigrants were found being driven through the bush from Moyale to Nairobi to avoid detection.

The driver escaped but is being sought after.

The suspects will be arraigned in court on Tuesday.
