    9 Arrested Over Robbery With Violence, Sexual Assault At Maseno University

    Nine suspects linked to series of robbery with violence and sexual assault incidents at Maseno University have been arrested.

    According to the Director of Criminal Investigations, detectives acting on a tip-off nabbed the suspects on Sunday.

    They include: Patrick Okanda, Peter Amango Sande, Geoffrey Okiya Mutunga, Obed Panyako, Peter Obed, David Ndegu, Samuel Kuya, Stephen Oloo and Nahashon Arena.

    Police are pursuing leads to several other suspects who escaped arrest during the operation.

    The DCI revealed that the suspects targeted Maseno University students and several cases had been reported.

    During the ambush, police confiscated stolen chairs, bhang, pangas and claw bars.
