In April 2024, Martin made the decision to transfer to the Florida Gators for his senior season.

At Florida, Martin quickly established himself as a key contributor, averaging around 16.1 points per game in his initial season with the Gators.

Martin has accumulated several notable accolades throughout his basketball career, particularly during his time at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) and now with the Florida Gators.
During the 2022-23 season, he was recognized as a member of the All-Conference USA First Team and earned NCAA All-Tournament Team honors after helping lead FAU to the Final Four.
He was also awarded the 2023 Conference USA Tournament Most Outstanding Player.
His performance in the postseason was remarkable, averaging 16.5 points per game, including a standout game where he scored 30 points against Memphis in the NCAA first round and 26 points in the Final Four against San Diego State.
In addition to these honors, Martin was named to the 2021-22 All-Conference USA Third Team and became a member of the 1,000-point club at FAU, scoring his milestone point during an Elite Eight victory over Kansas State.
He also received recognition as the 2023 ESPN Events Invitational MVP and was selected for the 2023-24 AAC Preseason Player of the Year and Preseason First Team All-Conference.
