Kenya Power has announced delays in the generation of electricity tokens for customers purchasing through Paybill 888880.

In a notice issued on Friday, February 14, the company advised customers to use alternative payment options as efforts to resolve the issue continue.

“We are currently experiencing a delay in the generation of tokens purchased through our Paybill 888880. Our team is working to resolve the issue as soon as possible,” the statement read.

The company urged customers to buy tokens through appointed banks to avoid disruptions. While apologizing for the inconvenience, Kenya Power did not disclose the cause of the delay.
