    Julia Rehwald is a Filipino-American actress and model who has garnered attention for her compelling performances in the entertainment industry.

    Born on November 22, 1995, in Sacramento, California, she grew up in El Dorado Hills and later moved to New York to pursue her acting career.

    Of biracial heritage, with a Filipino mother and an American father, Rehwald proudly embraces her cultural roots, expressing a desire to represent Filipino stories in her work.

    Her passion for acting developed early, nurtured through school theater and extracurricular activities, though she initially balanced academics with her artistic pursuits.

    Rehwald’s breakout role came in 2021 with Netflix’s Fear Street trilogy, where her portrayal of Kate Schmidt and Lizzie captivated audiences, marking her as a rising star in Hollywood.

    Rehwald entered the entertainment industry in 2017 with a role as Isabel in the short film Where’s Darren?, directed by Greyson Horst.

    This debut was followed by another short film, Mukbang Masarap in 2019, where she played Courtney, showcasing her ability to bring depth to diverse characters.

    Her big break came in 2020 when she was cast as Kate Schmidt in Netflix’s Fear Street: Part One – 1994, a horror trilogy based on R.L. Stine’s book series.

    Rehwald’s performance as the spirited Kate, and later as Lizzie in Fear Street: Part Three – 1666, earned her widespread praise for her emotional range and screen presence.

    She also appeared in archived footage in Fear Street: Part Two – 1978.

    Beyond film, Rehwald has made guest appearances on shows like Popternative, Steve Varley Show, and Thanks for Coming In, further expanding her visibility.

    As a model, she has worked with notable brands, including a 2017 IKEA commercial, leveraging her striking features and 5-foot-6-inch frame.
