The National Police Service (NPS), through the General Service Unit (GSU), has announced a public auction of boarded motor vehicles and used store items.

In a notice issued on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, the police said the auction will be conducted in conjunction with appointed auctioneer, Whitestone and Company Auctioneers.

The service invited interested bidders to participate in the sale of the items on an “as-is-where-is” basis.

According to the notice, the public auction will take place on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the General Service Unit headquarters in Ruaraka along Thika Road, Nairobi, starting at 10:00 a.m.

The auction will include a range of boarded motor vehicles and used store items that have been cleared for disposal.

The police said interested bidders can access a catalogue containing details of the items, conditions of sale, and auction locations free of charge through the government procurement and National Police Service websites.

The catalogue can be downloaded from Public Procurement Information Portal and the National Police Service website.

Prospective buyers have also been advised to inspect the items before the auction.

According to the notice, viewing of the items will take place at the locations indicated in the catalogue from Tuesday, May 26, 2026, to June 9, 2026, between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., excluding weekends and public holidays.

The National Police Service said the auction forms part of routine disposal of obsolete government assets in line with public procurement and asset management regulations.
