The Lake Victoria North Water Works Development Agency (LVNWWDA) has announced several senior job vacancies as it seeks to recruit qualified professionals for key positions.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, the agency invited applications for the positions of Director, Infrastructure Development; Deputy Director, Water Works Infrastructure Planning and Design; Deputy Director, Environment and Social Safeguards; Deputy Director, Planning and Resource Mobilisation; Principal Finance and Accounts Officer; and Senior Finance and Accounts Officer.
Interested candidates have been advised to obtain detailed job requirements from the LVNWWDA website, www.lvnwwda.go.ke.
Applicants who meet the requirements should submit their applications accompanied by a detailed curriculum vitae indicating their daytime and evening telephone contacts.
They should also attach copies of their national identity cards and certified copies of academic and professional certificates.
Successful candidates will be required to provide valid clearance certificates from the relevant institutions. These include a Tax Compliance Certificate, HELB Clearance Certificate, Credit Reference Bureau (CRB) Clearance Certificate, Certificate of Good Conduct and Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) Clearance Certificate.
All applications should clearly indicate the position being applied for and be submitted via recruitment@lvnwwda.go.ke.
The deadline for applications is Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

LVNWWDA Mandate
LVNWWDA is one of nine Water Works Development Agencies established under the Water Act, 2016, as part of reforms in Kenya’s water sector.
The agency was established through Gazette Notice No. 28 dated April 26, 2019, in line with the Constitution of Kenya, 2010.
Its mandate includes developing water and sanitation infrastructure in Vihiga, Kakamega, Nandi, Bungoma, Trans Nzoia and Busia counties.
