The Public Service Commission (PSC) has shortlisted 13 candidates for the position of Data Commissioner and scheduled interviews for October 5, 2026.
The Commission said the recruitment process followed an application period that closed on September 14 and attracted 152 applications.
The shortlisted candidates are Nooseli Moses Lemayian, Otieno Oscar Onyango, Shalle Mohamed Abdi, Sitienei Lydia Chelagat, Nyale Duncan Kubahatisha, Kirwa Solomon, Anditi Stephen Odhiambo and Lobuin Isaac Eregae.
The other shortlisted candidates are Omwoyo David Omwoyo, Mbiuki Jasper Micheni, Cheronoh Lynneth, Abdi Mohamed Hussein and Nyongesa John Walubengo.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, the Commission said the interviews will be conducted at the Public Service Commission offices on Harambee Avenue, Nairobi, on the dates and times indicated in the interview schedule.
“The candidates should be at the venue at least 20 minutes before the starting time,” PSC said.
The Commission has also invited members of the public to provide any credible information of interest relating to the shortlisted candidates.
PSC said such information should be submitted through sworn affidavits to the Secretary/CEO of the Public Service Commission.
