Criticism As KTN Rewards Kibera Fan Kelvin Agure With TV Set

Kenyans on Twitter (KoT) were an unhappy lot after Kenya Television Network (KTN) awarded one of their ardent fans with a 40 inch flat screen tv.

Comedian Kelvin Agure resides in Kibra and only shot up to fame after a picture of him, seven kids and a dog watching “KTN News on a box” went viral.

The KTN team went searching for the funny man who apparently is a big fan of Sports journalist Hassan Jumaa and Zilizala Viwanjani programme.

But KoT thought the broadcaster should have found another way to reward Agure, with a job perhaps.
