The National Biosafety Authority (NBA) has invited qualified experts to apply for inclusion in its Biosafety Roster of Experts.

In a notice issued on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, the NBA said it is seeking to establish a pool of qualified professionals who meet the qualifications and experience outlined in the Terms of Reference (TORs).

Interested and qualified applicants have been asked to visit the NBA website, www.biosafetykenya.go.ke, download the TORs and complete the Nomination Form for the Biosafety Roster of Experts.

Applicants are required to attach relevant supporting documents when submitting their applications.

The Authority said it will select suitable experts based on the criteria outlined in the TORs. Those selected will be engaged for specific biosafety assignments depending on the Authority’s needs.

The experts will be paid an applicable honorarium based on the nature of the assignment and the agreement reached.

“This call is for all interested experts, including those previously nominated by the Authority,” the NBA said.

The deadline for submitting the Nomination Form for the Biosafety Roster of Experts is September 30, 2026.

    Applications should be addressed to:

    The Chief Executive Officer
    National Biosafety Authority
    P.O. Box 28251 – 00100
    Nairobi

Applicants can also contact the Authority through telephone numbers 020 2678667 or 0713 854132.

Applications and inquiries can be sent via email to info@biosafetykenya.go.ke.
