Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, is so riled by SOPA / PIPA that he has tweeted about it. Mark has not tweeted since March 2009 and the anti-SOPA / PIPA tweet is his 19th. The tweet links up to a Facebook post where he calls SOPA / PIPA “poorly thought out laws.”

Tell your congressmen you want them to be pro-internet. My Facebook post is here: facebook.com/zuck/posts/101…

    — Mark Zuckerberg (@finkd) January 18, 2012

“The internet is the most powerful tool we have for creating a more open and connected world. We can’t let poorly thought out laws get in the way of the internet’s development. Facebook opposes SOPA and PIPA, and we will continue to oppose any laws that will hurt the internet,” the Facebook CEO said in the post.

Facebook has also set up a special page where the whole issue of online piracy is addressed and Facebook point of view fronted.
