Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi has accused president Uhuru Kenyatta of using the handshake between him and ODM leader Raila Odinga  to extend his presidential term.

He said that Raila came to that handshake with politics of 2022 and the arrests and the scandal were meant to taint the image of the deputy president.

“I want to tell Raila we accepted the handshake but now we know what it meant. Uhuru should tell us what he is scheming with Raila. If he doesn’t want to go home in 2022 let him tell us,” Sudi said.

He said that the dam scandal was meant to cover the JKIA take over scandal. Sudi said that when Ruto was with Raila he was not perceived as a thief and that image has just recently been pushed in the name of the ‘handshake’

“When Ruto supported Raila he was not a thief, when he backed Uhuru he was not a thief, but now that his turn for the top seat has come you say he is a thief,” Sudi said.

“When the issue of JKIA came up, they decided to use the Elgeyo Marakwet dams to cover up the plan to take over the airport. We know a lot about them,” he added

The legislator then turned on DCI Kinoti accusing him of destroying the lives of innocent Kenyanns in the name of fighting graft.

He told the DCI that he was being used by powerful force to destroy the lives of Kenyans who had families to fend for

He said that DCI Kinoti should be careful not to follow the path of former ECK chairman Kivuitu who he said suffered the consequences of doing things to benefit a few people.

“You have caused the sacking of so many innocent people and their cries will not go free. If you don’t want certain people just tell them to resign instead of faking graft charges,” he said.
