    Antônio Benício is a Brazilian actor born on December 16, 1996, in São Paulo, Brazil, to renowned actors Murilo Benício and Alessandra Negrini.

    Growing up in a family deeply rooted in the entertainment industry, he was exposed to the world of acting from a young age, often accompanying his parents to theater productions and sets during his childhood.

    Antônio comes from a blended family and has two half-siblings from his parents’ subsequent relationships.

    His half-brother, Pietro Antonelli Benício, was born in 2005 to his father, Murilo Benício, and actress Giovanna Antonelli, with whom Murilo shared a relationship after his marriage to Alessandra Negrini.

    On his mother’s side, Antônio has a half-sister named Betina, born in 2003 to Alessandra Negrini and singer Otto, during their marriage which lasted from 2001 to 2008.

    Career

    Antônio embarked on his professional acting journey in 2018 with his debut in the Brazilian miniseries “If I Close My Eyes Now,” a project that introduced him to audiences and showcased his potential as a performer.

    The following year, he landed a significant role in the popular telenovela “A Mother’s Love,” where he portrayed Vinícius Camargo, a character that allowed him to share the screen with his father, Murilo Benício, adding a personal layer to the production.

    After a period away from telenovelas, Antônio returned to the spotlight in 2024 with a role in the Netflix Original film “Outlaw” (titled “Bandida: A Número Um” in Portuguese), playing Feliciano in a story set amid the crime-ridden favelas of Rio de Janeiro, further establishing him in feature films.
