Moroccan club Raja Casablanca ended a 15-year wait for an African trophy by winning the CAF Confederation Cup in the Democratic Republic of Congo Sunday despite a 3-1 second-leg loss to V Club. Confederation of African Football (CAF) has relieved Cameroon of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations hosting rights. The huge call was taken Friday during the body’s Executive Committee Extraordinary meeting in Accra – Ghana. Cameroon was awarded the rights in September 2014 under unclear circumstances under the then CAF boss Issa Hayatou, a native of the Central African nation.
