Retired Brazilian striker Ronaldo is reportedly in intensive care in an Ibiza hospital after coming down with pneumonia. The 41-year-old is said to have been diagnosed with the illness after being rushed to Can Misses Hospital on the island on Friday evening. Respected island daily Diario de Ibiza said he had asked for a transfer to a private hospital called Clinica Nuestra Senora del Rosario just before midnight the same day. Kenya has been caught age-cheating by CAF in the U-17 AFCON qualifiers for Central-East Zone set to start on Saturday in Tanzania with three players affected. Kenya, however, is not alone as the hosts Tanzania (2 players), Uganda (3 players), Burundi, Rwanda, South Sudan and Sudan, each one player, have also been nabbed. World’s football body, FIFA, has handed the 1988 African Footballer of The Year Kalusha Bwalya of Zambia a two-year ban and fined him $100,000 for corruption. Kulusha, who is a member of the CAF Executive and Technical Committees was found guilty of receiving $80,000 from disgraced former Asian football leader Bin Hammam. Former AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf was Thursday night officially unveiled as the new head coach of Cameroon’s Indomitable Lions.
