Two people have allegedly been killed by police officers were who were dispersing NASA supporters who had flanked opposition leader Raila Odinga’s home coming convoy. The NASA supporters have been engaging in running battles with the anti riot police officers  leading to the closure of  Mombasa and Jogoo roads in Nairobi. Police have also allegedly shot at the cars separately  ferrying Odinga and Imara Daima MCA Kennedy Obuya. Odinga was returning back to the Country after a ten days tour to the West. Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has declared Raila Odinga will be sworn in as president using the controversial election amendments that were passed prior to the October 26 poll. The law stated that any judge can swear in the president a law that was passed in the absence of their NASA counterparts. Cleophas Malala said that they would remind their Jubilee counterparts of the same at the right time. The NASA rally that was scheduled to be held at Uhuru park after the NASA leaders arrival has been moved to Olympic grounds in Kibra constituency. Initial reports indicated that the rally was to be held in Uhuru park but it has been cordoned off with heavy police presence. Supporters trying to access the recreational park have been teargassed. Lawyer Edwin Sifuna exposed that the Inspector general was notified of the procession to JKIA therefore it cannot be perceived to be unlawful. In a letter sent to the IG Joseph Boinett through the law firm of E. Auditor General  Edward Ouko has made some unusual discoveries upon audit of Murang’a and Embu counties. Under Murang’a governor’s Mwangi Wa Iria regime, county funds have been squandered without availing supporting documents to illustrate expenditure. The High Court in Kirinyaga has dismissed the petition filed by NARC leader Martha Karua against Kirinyaga county governor Anne Waiguru. The Petition was filed by Martha Karua’s lawyer Gitobu Imanyara to challenge the election of Anne Waiguru as Kirinyaga governor on grounds that the presidential election was nullified and it was impossible to uphold the other elections as valid. The council of governors have denied claims that they deliberately ignored the swearing in of Nyeri governor Mutahi Kahiga. Andrew Teyie who is the communication director said that the notice given was too short .
