The Nairobi county governor has asked the Nation Media group to apologize for alluding that he made  a directive that hawkers will be allowed to sell within the CBD at 2 p.m and published it on October 10. A protester in Kisumu was on Wednesday shot on the buttock by police during the Anti IEBC riots.The man who was dressed in a skirt that was written ‘fungua server’ which means open the severs suffered bullet wounds on the buttock as he walked with other protesters. The office of the Director of Public prosecution through deputy DPP Nicholas Mutuku has asked the DCI Ndegwa Muhoro to investigate the shooting  and hit and run against NASA supporters during the Monday demonstration. Okiya Omtatah has moved to court under a certificate of urgency to restrain the IEBC from declaring Uhuru Kenyatta as President. The High court has said that all the presidential candidates who were presidential in the August 8 polls should be in the ballot paper in the October 26 fresh presidential elections. The court said that it would discriminatory to not allow Ekuru Aukot to be on the ballot as it was a violation of his human right to political participation. Nairobi county governor Mike Sonko has come up with a plan to reduce the hawker menace within Nairobi’s Central Business district. The hawkers will be required to pair an annual fee of Ksh. 2000 and be given space outside the CBD in order to conduct their business. The director of public prosecution( DPP) has suspended theft charges of a girl who was allegedly defiled while in a police cell in Murang’a. Laban Njogu pleaded not guilty of defiling thirteen year old who had been charged with handling stolen property.
