Independent candidate Japheth Kavinga Kaluyu and his running mate Eliud Muthiora Kariara have said that they will be in the ballot for the fresh presidential election.
Kaluyu is a first time aspirant who is a professor in the United States of America came to the limelight after his running mate appeared as the only running mate who attended the debate set for the running mates by various Media companies.

This follows the ruling of the high court ordering the IEBC to allow all presidential candidate who participated in the August 8 polls to be on the ballot.
The fresh election polls will be held on October 26 after the court nullified the Aust 8 polls and called foe a fresh election in sixty days
