Church leaders of the Pentecostal assemblies of God have disagreed over a donation that Deputy president gave on September 14,2017 during the national pastors convention. Some of the the pastors said that the donation was meant to make the followers to support Jubilee during the presidential  elections. A citizen by the name Mr. Rashid Mohammed through his lawyer Mr. Kioko Kilukumi have written to the Ethics and Anti Corruption Commission (EACC) against the conduct of the registrar of the supreme court Esther Nyaiyaki. The High Court Machakos has ordered IEBC officials to produce materials used in the elections.This was during the first hearing of the petition filed by Wavinya Ndeti to contest the election of Alfred Mutua as governor of Machakos county. The Ministry of Education has on Friday adjusted the school term dates ‘given that a number of schools are gazetted as polling stations and tallying centres’ for the fresh presidential elections scheduled for October 26, 2017.
