    Governor Hassan Joho Arrested In Nyali,Mombasa County

    Hassan JohoMombasa governor Hassan Joho was on Monday morning arrested and detained shortly after he caused drama at the police station demanding for the release of Seven county inspectorate officers.

    The inspectorate officers are said to have been arrested while demolishing a wall that was  constructed without the necessary county approvals.

    Governor Hassan Joho said that the wall was being built on grabbed land and said that the police were aiding the alleged land grabber. He said that the the wall was built on public land that was meant to aide citizens to access the beach.

    The governor said that the police were acting with orders from above and that he would go to court to seek clarification on matters of enforcement.
