Business mogul Jimmy Wanjigi has written to the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) Keriako Tobiko to compel the police look into his threat to life claims. In a letter addressed to the DPP, the billionaire said he had written to the Inspector General Joseph Boinnet complaining about being trailed by persons unknown to him but the IG had failed or ignored to acknowledge his complaint. The council of elders has suspended two members for vowing to support and campaigning door to for Uhuru Kenyatta.Richard Walukano, the council chairman and Patrick Wamunda, the group adviser were kicked out during a special general meeting. The council of elders led by Patrick Wangamati suspended the two for confusing the voters and purporting that the area was for Jubilee. They were also accosted for visiting State House without the knowledge of the other elders. IEBC has set a new date for the Fresh presidential elections from the the 17th to the 26th of October. Derrick Ngumu a director at the Angaza empowerment network who had filed a petition against lady Justice Philomena Mwilu has been disowned by the organization . The Network Executive Director Livingstone Nyando has distanced the organization from the petition saying that for decision of such magnitude to be made the board had to sit down and that had not happened. High court judge has ruled in favor of betting firm Sportspesa saying that the league will have  a maximum od 16 teams as was in the memorandum that stated that the number of teams should be 16 for the period between 2017 and 2020.
