Derrick Ngumu a director at the Angaza empowerment network who had filed a petition against lady Justice Philomena Mwilu has been disowned by the organization .

The Network Executive Director Livingstone Nyando has distanced the organization from the petition saying that for decision of such magnitude to be made the board had to sit down and that had not happened.

He said that the Network had five executive directors and that Derrick Ngumu was one of them but did not have capacity to file such a petition on behalf of the network.

The director said that the proposal to such a petition would need approval from at least three of the directors.

Derrick Ngumu had petitioned to have the decision by the supreme court to nullify the presidential election over the conduct of Justice Mwilu.

The other Directors said that Mr. Ngumu had a right to file the petition as an individual but should drag the organizations name with them.

They said that Derrick had failed to explain why he had linked the organization which is apolitical and non partisan to the petition.they said that he will face disciplinary action during their next meeting next week.
