Presbyterian University has been forced to shut down its Nairobi city campus due to tough rule set by the Commission of University Education (CUE). Vice Chancellor Mr. Mungania said that the university was unable to meet the standards set for setting up a campus in Nairobi. He however stated that the affected students have already been transferred to the main campus in Kikuyu. Lorry Driver Shadrack Nzomo Musyomi was arraigned in court for obstructing the DP William Ruto’s motorcade by blocking the road. The incident happened at the Vota junction in Machakos at the Nairobi-Mombasa highway. The office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has said that it has identified 24 officials of the IEBC that will be charged following the nullification of the August 8 elections. A form four Orero Secondary School student in HomaBay county has been arrested for being in possession of a gun.
