Lorry Driver Shadrack Nzomo Musyomi was arraigned in court for obstructing the DP William Ruto’s motorcade by blocking the road.
The incident happened at the Vota junction in Machakos at the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
He was charged under section 53(1) as read with section 53(4) of the traffic Act where he failed to obey verbal instructions and obstruction.
Shadrack pleaded guilty to the charge and was ordered to to pay Ksh.12,000 by senior magistrate Yusuf Shikanda.

The DP was in Machakos campaigning for Uhuru Kenyatta ahead of the October 17 presidential elections.
