Oxfam International through its Executive Director Winnie Byanyima has announced that they will be moving their secretariat from Oxford to Nairobi, Kenya. They say the move came from the need to be part of the society where they offer their help and to strengthen the southern voices within its decision making. JamboPay, a company that has partnered with the county government to provide online services for the county government wants to introduce aerial drones to monitor cars parked in Nairobi whose owners do not pay parking. They have written to the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority asking for permission to purchase the cameras that will help in revenue collection. Homabay Governor, Cyprian Awiti’s office went up in flames last night over a suspected arson attack.
