Richard Nyakina, the Facebook man who was accused of killing his girlfriend Lydiah Nyaboke who he met on the social media platform was on Thursday arraigned in court. According to the charge sheet the man was said to have murdered his girlfriend in Ngong forest at an unknown time. Bomet Governor, Joyce Laboso has rejected the title ‘your excellency’ and has told residents of Bomet not to refer to her as such. The Supreme court has announced that it will give a ruling on the presidential petition on Friday, September 1. The Chief Justice David Maraga thanked counsel for the petitioner and respondents for the level of decorum they exhibited throughout the hearing . He however said that he would not specify the time the ruling will be given.
