Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) Chairperson, Kagwiria Mbogori has condemned the actions of the NGO board’s Fazul Mahamed. She termed the actions as a direct attack on human rights groups and that the board was acting in contempt of court from orders that were issued in October 2016. Four senior ICT managers at the government information and communication authority have been fired over embezzlement claims in the presidents digital talent program. The ICT principal secretary Victor Kyalo said that the CEO of the authority had fired the four in order for investigations to take place after an internal audit showed the grand theft.
