Incumbent Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero and ODM senatorial candidate Edwin Sifuna have rejected the preliminary results provided by the IEBC. The Jubilee candidates, Mike Sonko and Johnson Sakaja appear to have won the polls according to the IEBC preliminary reports. A power blackout is threatening to derail IEBC preparations in Nyonoro area of Lamu county after a suspected Al shabaab militants attack.
