Presidential candidate and third way alliance leader Ekuru Aukot has conceded defeat through a press conference this afternoon.
He said that the electoral management system did not perform as anticipated but John Kerry had told his agent that no election can be perfect.
He reiterated that distribution of election materials and electoral processes were conducted smoothly.

The presidential hopeful said, ”Minority have had their say and majority have had their way. The sling of David did not catch Goliath.”
He told NASA candidate Raila ‘modern day democracy cannot be mentioned without mentioning him and appreciated the efforts that he made to achieve democracy in Kenya.’
He however appealed to Odinga to let Kenyans move on and continue with their day to day struggles .
According to him, ‘based on the form 34As that we had received not much change would be seen as compared to what had already been put up.’
He congratulated Jubilee’s Uhuru Kenyatta and said that his government should be all inclusive.He also said that the third way alliance will support the government but will remain vigilant as they have always been.
Ekuru also said he will be vying for the presidency, come 2022.
