The fate of Homabay governor Cyprian Awiti lies in the hands of Chief Justice David Maraga and the judges of the Supreme Court. The judgement which has since be postponed to 2PM from 9AM will determine whether the governor will complete his second term at the helm of Homabay county. The court has awarded Sh.2.4 Million to a woman who sued Mater Hospital for negligence after suffering uterus perforation. Senior Resident Magistrate  P. Muholi said that the hospital failed to convince the court that the injuries suffered were beyond the hospital. She said that the explanation that she had procured an incomplete abortion before going to the hospital did not suffice. Job Seda who was popularly known by his stage name Ayub Ogada has passed on in Kisumu at the age of 63. Seda died on Friday night at his home after years of poor health.
