Meru University vice Chancellor professor Magambo has been sent on terminal leave  after the death of student leader Evans Njoroge who was allegedly shot by police. He will be replaced by professor Charity Gichuki who takes over  as vice chancellor in acting capacity. Beware of food in Nairobi as it has gone for months without being inspected due to lack of chemicals used to inspect the food. The Chairman of the youth fund Ronald Osumba has suspended seven senior staff members. The seniors staff affected by the the suspension include the lending and investment manager and the the senior accountant. Three journalists and four students fro the university of Nairobi have been arrested during the registrars strike at Kenyatta National Hospital. The circumstances behind the arrest of the journalist were still unclear. 30 students from the Kabete campus marched to the hospital carrying placards reading “We do not condone ignorance. #Quacksout”. Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) is currently undergoing a crisis after 700 staff at the hospital boycotted their duties and demanded for the reinstatement of their colleague. They said that they would not be able to work without their lecturers who are their supervisors because they do not get protection after mistakes such as the brain surgery happens.
