Machakos woman Jackline Mwende whose domestic violence case caught many by surprise has gotten rid of her prosthetic limbs. Mwende was assaulted by her husband Stephen Ngila in 2016 after he suspected her of “failing to conceive” and being unfaithful. Motorists travelling across Maralal were left stranded after petrol stations shut down business due to an Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) crackdown for hiked fuel prices. This crackdown comes after the Energy Regulatory Commission ordered for the closure of petrol stations which had hiked their fuel prices. A taxi driver, identified as Gabriel Wamalwa has been arrested after stealing from his passenger. According to the victim, Wamalwa picked him up from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) at around 7.30 am in a black Toyota Vitz Registration Number KCR 464M. A couple was found dead in their rental home in Shauri Yako Estate, Homa Bay county on Saturday morning. Ben Mancha, 43, and Phoebe Kamire, 38, were found dead by a neighbour who was reportedly bringing home their 6 year old child after a sleepover. A street vendor on Friday met Interior PS Karanja Kibicho who cleared a Sh40 debt owed to him by President Uhuru Kenyatta.
