A deaf and dumb man from Kahawa West was murdered by carjackers along the busy Thika Super Highway on Friday. The man identified as Dennis Kimani Wachira was brutally attacked by hijackers a few days ago. His assailants took over a Sunbird Bus at Drive Inn only to assault passengers. Suna East MP Junet Mohamed has claimed that his life is in danger. According to the minority whip in the National Assembly, those responsible for the death of Sharon Otieno are threatening him as well. Seven MCAs from Homabay county were released on Monday on a bond of KSh250,000 ad a surety of the same amount after being held at Kodiaga Prisons for four days. President Uhuru Kenyatta launched the Kenya Coast Guard Service (KCGS) in Mombasa County on Monday. KCGS is a multi-agency service established under the Kenya Coast guard service act, 2018 and has been tasked with enforcing law and order within Kenyan water territories. Thousands of Taxify riders continue to suffer fraudulent billings in the hands of their drivers. On Monday, a Taxify rider requested a ride from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to Thika only to receive a Sh3,100 bill. This was way above the estimated fares which ranged between Sh2150-2450. Safaricom PLC has been accused of deceiving Customer Experience Executives (CEE) after putting them through rigorous interview exercises.
