Traders woke up to find their properties destroyed by a nighttime fire in Gikomba market. Stalls were razed down and some buildings burnt during the incident. The fire is said to have started at 3 AM but traders say that fire respondents arrived at the location at 5 AM. A woman has fled her home after receiving threats to life from men who sexually assaulted her on November 4 on her way to hospital to deliver her second child. The unidentified woman was gang raped in front of her daughter at a field popularly known as St Theresa. A Nakuru County police officer on Tuesday morning killed his wife after a night out. The officer identified as Constable Cornelius Talaam is said to have shot his wife, Eunice Wambui before turning the gun on himself.
