Suspect in the killing of 28 year old Monica Kimani, Joe Irungu alias Jowie was emotional after his mother showed up in court on Monday. A Kiambaa Catholic Priest has been accused by parishioners of luring young girls to his residence for “immoral” activities. The priest who has since been banished to the John Paul II, a rehabilitation centre for wayward Catholic priests in Murang’a, is said to have invited female congregants to his home, seduced them and helped them terminate pregnancies. National Environment Management Authority (Nema) and Water Resources Management Authorities (WARMA) has given the developer of a 12 storey building in Nairobi’s Nyayo Highrise estate 14 days notice to bring it down. The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairman Wafula Chebukati on Saturday said that the commission’s CEO Ezra Chiloba was fired for gross misconduct. The Nairobi Hospital has blocked surgeon Prof Stanley Khainga from practicing at the facility. Khainga has accused the hospital of neglecting June Wanza, a woman who died in June shortly after having a breast enlargement operation. She sought help at the Nairobi Hospital where she lost her life. Ms Wanza developed sepsis, an infection that takes effect when the body’s immune system releases chemicals into the bloodstream to fight an infection.
