Churchill Show Comedian Herman Kago, popularly known as Professor Hamo, will be replacing Jalang’o as Hot 96 host in the morning show with Jeff Koinange. This news comes two months after Jalang’o quit from Hot 96 after getting a ‘better offer’ from a different radio station. Professor Hamo, who is set to begin work on Thursday, shared a video on his Instagram with Jeff Koinange, his co- host, giving him directions to the station’s location. Nairobi County assembly representatives have elected Ngara MCA Chege Mwaura as the temporary speaker. Mwaura takes Beatrice Elachi’s place after her dramatic ouster from office. Angry protesters have paraded three corpses along the busy Thika Super Highway as they demand for the government to fence off a dam near Clay Works. This comes after a Thika bound matatu lost control, veering off the road and into the dam on Monday night. Locals say there were at least six people in the matatu when the accident happened. Sources say that the narrative being driven by the management and the Vice Chancellor Professor Peter Mbithi is a lie. Citizen TV’s Jacque Maribe’s fiance, Joe Irungu alias Jowie Joe has been arrested in connection with the brutal murder of 28 year old, Monica Nyawira Kimani. Monica was found dead in her apartment along Dennis Pritt road on Thursday shortly after jetting back from South Sudan. Sharon Otieno’s father has for the first time spoken out since his 26 year old daughter was found dead in a thicket in Oyugis after being abducted by people close to her boyfriend, Migori Governor Okoth Obado. The National Lands Commission has ruled that one of Jomo Kenyatta’s traditional late dancers’ estate, Rahab Wanjiru, to be compensated for the land next to Harambee House Annex, which houses the Deputy President’s office.
