3 people were killed and 12 others injured after a 14- seater matatu hit a trailer from behind while trying to overtake a fleet of vehicles at Chumvi in Machakos County. Machakos County Commander, Samuel Mukindia confirmed the reports, saying that the driver was overtaking and tried to return to his lane but instead hit a trailer from behind. Tanzanians are in mourning the death of popular, veteran actor and comedian, Amri Athuman, popuarly Mzee Majuto who died on Wednesday evening. The actor passed on while undergoing treatment at Tanzania’s Muhimbili National Hospital in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. Residents of Tassia estate woke up to fire in Mabatini area in Embakasi. Over 200 houses were burnt down completely. The fire broke out at 2 AM and is suspected to have started from a hotel nearby, igniting the gas cylinders that were in surrounding areas, causing the fire to spread quickly. Durex has recalled the Real Feel condoms over results showing that they did not pass the shelf-durability test. The company posted on their media page saying certain products sold in the UK, Poland and Ireland do not meet the international ISO standards. ​ “Our internal testing has shown that a limited number of non-latex Real Feel condoms may not meet the international ISO standard throughout their shelf life,” said Durex.
