Kenya Power on Monday reorganized its corporate structure for improved customer service and effective management operations in line with its new business growth strategy. The restructuring process, which begun in 2017 spearheaded by the Board of Directors, has led to the creation of five directorates; Energy Supply Management, Commercial, Operations, Corporate Services and Finance. Kenyans will now not be able to import vehicles over 5 years old if the government implements the law to ban vehicles that have been registered abroad for five years before being brought into the country. Former Machakos governor aspirant Titus Ndundu was on Sunday arrested at his Ikombe  home. Ndundu was held at Masii police station before his arraignment on Monday morning. He was charged with defiling an under-age girl on May, 14 2018. Appearing before Machakos resident magistrate Irene Kahuya, the politician denied the charges and was released on a Sh.100,000 bond with a surety of a similar amount. National Youth Service (NYS) Director General Richard Ndubai has been apprehended following the Sh9 Billion scandal. The office of the Wife of the Deputy President, Rachel Ruto will benefit from the Treasury’s next budget by getting an increase of 707% in her annual budget. Her allocation for salaries and allowances will rise to Sh118.5 million from Sh14.7 in the current year. This increase in budget is supposed to help her hire more staff in her office, pay salaries and allowances. A female tout has accused two female police officers based at the Huruma Police Station of forcing her to strip naked after she openly refused to give them a Sh.400 bribe. Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) has warned businesses that are bottling and supplying water without legal licenses. Speaking during a stakeholder forum, the KEBS Managing Director, Charles Ongwae revealed that 157 companies are illegally operating in the country by failing to obtain proper certification to run their business.
