Judge Aggrey Muchelule has dismissed the petition filed by Mutua’s rival, Wavinya Ndeti due to lack of sufficient evidence proving that the election was stolen. “I find that the case was not proved beyond doubt… the allegations are not established,” the judge said as he delivered the ruling. Interior CS, Fred Matiang’i ordered for lawyer Miguna Miguna to remain in police custody as the government made arrangements for his deportation, Kahawa Tungu has learnt. The Nairobi County Government has found that the Fleet and Mechanical Department has over the years been stealing from the public by inflating mechanical fees and grounding county vehicles. Mombasa Governor, Ali Hassan Joho is allegedly unwell and has been hospitalized in a Mombasa hospital. It is not yet clear what ails the county boss but the Nation on Tuesday reported that he (Joho) was admitted and his room heavily guarded.
