Direct flights from Kenya to the United States (US) will start in October 2018, Kenya Airways (KQ) has announced. The daily flights between Nairobi and New York will take an estimated 15 hours instead of the 22 hours spent due to layovers. The Tuesday evening power outage was due to a technical hitch emanating from Kenya Power’s transmission system, the company explained.
