A girl was arrested in Awendo, Migori for being in possession of a mobile phone that is believed to have been used to send threatening messages to the late IEBC ICT manager, Chris Msando. Susan Wangari, a 39 year old woman from Kangema, Murang’a County was on Saturday August 19 found dead in her home. Her daughter is said to have called her relative, Mary Njambi on Saturday at 9 pm to inform her that her mother had been attacked by her lover and was in critical condition. “I rushed to Wangari’s house, where i found her lying unconscious. There are apparently ongoing plans to have Nairobi county become a Ministry under the National Government. According to the Star, some people in the Jubilee government are hatching a plan that will see a new ministry created. The ministry is allegedly supposed to take over most of the powers and functions the Nairobi County performs. Mombasa Governor, Ali Hassan Joho has had the government make adjustments to his security detail a day after his swearing in to office for a second term.
